Service Description

If required, Dr Selim performs bone marrow biopsies at Icon Cancer Centre. In addition to local anaesthetic, Dr Selim uses methoxyflurane ("the green whistle") which has both anaglesic and sedative properties and makes the procedure significantly better tolerated. For thos with private health (hospital) cover, this is with no out-of-pocket expense (insurance excess may apply).
